Child Safety Standards

Last updated: October 14, 2026

The Utas - Threads and Chats app (Google Play: com.chataja.app), published by TENZ.CL, strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Violations lead to content removal, a permanent ban, and reports to the authorities.

Utas is committed to protecting children from all forms of abuse, exploitation, and inappropriate content. This page explains our child safety standards, prevention measures, and how to report child safety issues.

1Our Commitment to Child Safety

Utas has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual content that sexually exploits children
  • Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Any form of sexual abuse or exploitation of children
  • Grooming: Attempts to build emotional relationships with children for exploitation purposes
  • Sextortion: Threats to distribute intimate content of children
  • Predatory Behavior: Adult behavior targeting children for sexual purposes

2Age Restrictions

Utas is NOT intended for anyone under the age of 18. Utas is an 18+ app.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under age
  • Every user must confirm their date of birth in the app. Users under 18 cannot use the app, and our servers reject birth dates under 18
  • If we become aware of a user under the age of 18, their account will be immediately deleted
  • Parents or guardians who become aware of a child under age using our app are asked to contact us immediately

3Prevention Measures

We implement the following prevention measures to protect children:

🔍 Content Moderation

4How to Report Child Safety Issues

If you see or experience child safety issues, report immediately through:

📱 Through the App

  1. Sign-in screen, no account needed: tap "Laporkan keselamatan anak" (Report child safety) or "Bantuan & masukan" (Help & feedback) to open the in-app report form
  2. Posts and comments: tap ⋯ → "Laporkan utas" (Report) → choose "Keselamatan anak" (Child safety)
  3. Private chats: tap ⋮ in the chat → "Laporkan" (Report) → choose "Keselamatan anak". Recent messages are forwarded to moderators, and you can block the user at the same time
  4. Anonymous chats: tap ⋮ → "Laporkan" → choose "Keselamatan anak". Your identity stays private
  5. Any other concern or feedback: Profile → Settings → "Laporkan masalah keselamatan anak" (Report a child safety concern) or "Kirim masukan atau laporan" (Send feedback or a report)
  6. In-app feedback mechanism: all of the above are submitted inside the app without leaving it, reach our moderators in real time, and the user sees an in-app confirmation

  2. Investigation (2-24 hours): Team reviews the report and gathers evidence
  3. Action (24-48 hours): Perpetrator's account is permanently blocked, content is removed
  4. Reporting to Law Enforcement: If necessary, we will report to competent authorities
  5. Confirmation: The reporter sees an in-app confirmation that the report was received

6Cooperation with Law Enforcement

Utas is committed to cooperating with law enforcement in child safety cases:

  • We will respond to valid legal requests as quickly as possible
  • We will preserve evidence for investigation
  • We will report to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) for CSAM cases
  • We will cooperate with international organizations when legally required
  • We will provide information necessary for prosecution of perpetrators

7Sanctions for Violations

Violations of child safety standards will result in:

  • Permanent Blocking: Account is immediately blocked without warning
  • Reporting to Law Enforcement: Perpetrator information will be handed over to police
  • Content Removal: All violating content is removed and evidence is preserved for law enforcement
